Explorer 5 - A very
easy to use browser that has introduced some very
nice features into Version 5. Web pages also load
much faster after the program was redesigned from
the ground up.
- Outlook
Express 5 - A very
powerful package that makes email and newsgroup
management straight forward. Version 5 sees the
introduction of new advanced features taken from
its big brother Outlook 98 but all for free. Requires
Internet Explorer 5.
- Winzip
7.0 - This program is a must
for any net browser. All Web Designers will use
this program to deliver files faster to your
computer because it compresses the files. E.g:
This program basically takes the water out of a
pot noodle, when a file gets to your end, you
really are adding the water back to make the
files expand.

Audio
and Multimedia
- Contact
Box Media Player - In
order to listen to the audio files that are sent
via Contact Box, you will need to download this
player.
Note: In
order to listen to our .vox format files, you first
need to install this player. This will set-up the .vox
file association on your system to use the Contact
Box Media Player.
- Real
Player G2 - Most
of the audio files created by webmasters and site
designers are normally based in Real Audio format.
Real Audio allows for songs, samples to be
streamed across the Internet live as they happen
or to download to your computer to listen later.
This product is a must!
- Microsoft
Media Player 6.1 -
Another audio format which has started to appear
especially at the higher end of the market is
Media Player audio format from Microsoft.
Offering a similar quality to Real Audio it is
worth installing just in case.

- Norton
Antivirus Free Scanner - Free version of Norton
Antivirus. This is not the DOS freebie they have
at their site, it is a free (really free!)
Windows 95 - NT application they released and it
scans and cleans most viruses, don't forget to
download the monthly virus definition update
